CST 462S Service: Learning Journal Reflection
Service Learning Reflection CST 462S was a great experience and stands out amongst the other classes. Below is an account of my experience in the class. What went well The class had a good balance of technical and soft skills. Working in a group for the research paper was helpful in developing ideas and proofreading. We had good discussions regarding our research questions as well as the other elements of the paper. The group with which I completed the research paper is also the group with which I was assigned for my service-learning hours. This was helpful as I only had to adjust to one group dynamic for both parts of the class. We split the work up equally and always kept each other informed about our action items and progress. We were also very helpful to each other, which made it easy to reach out for assistance. Both the research paper and the site placement were a great experience.
